The Unbreakable Bladesong Druid Book Review
As Saber and Rikr plot to free Zak from Lallakai’s control, they discover the Lady of Shadows has a plan to become the most powerful fae alive. Yet they aren’t the only ones to discover her true intentions. The Summer Queen has returned to take revenge on Rikr, and if she can overpower Lallakai, Rikr will be next. And the one ally they thought Zak could depend on Echo, has his own goals in mind. As the powerful fae battle for supremacy, Saber will be left to choose what she is willing to sacrifice to ensure her companions' survival.
The utter destruction within The Unbreakable Bladesong Druid is a testament to how intense battles between fae can become. Readers will be swept up in the action as the magic flies and loyalties are tested. Saber will have to call on everything she has learned as both a druid and a survivor in order to weather the storm. Yet despite her best efforts, Saber will not come away without new scars.
Readers will be pleased to see characters returning from the Spellbound series in this one. Tori and the boys will team up with Saber and Rikr for the final showdown of the Unveiled series. And even with the increased character count, Annette Marie gives everyone a part to play and enough page time. This wonderful blend of old and new characters will be sure to satisfy readers and provide an action-packed and emotional finale.
The Unbreakable Bladesong Druid was a fast-paced and danger laced ride. It did carry some predictable tropes towards the end, but it wraps up the series well enough and brings the tale full circle. Fans of the Guild Codex world will definitely enjoy this as well.
