Welcome to my list of book series I hope to read in 2025, and the book series from this year that I never did get around to reading. So of course I'm going to add them in to try again next year! By now we should all know I become hopelessly distracted by new books and series.
2024 Book Series I Thought I Would Read
But Didn't...
Allie Beckstrom by Devon Monk - I never did circle back to this one. The Guild Codex series snagged my attention and I made that my main focus in 2024 again (But hey I finished it this time!). I'll have to try and fit in a few more Allie Beckstroms this year.
Titania Academy by Samaire Wynne and By the Hand of Dragons by Alexzander Christion- Sadly I did not pick up either of these series either. And for now I think I'm going to add them back into the TBR for sometime future reads.
Redwall by Brian Jacques - I still did not get a chance to circle back to this series. I heavily focused on audiobooks in 2024. But for 2025 I want to go back to reading physical books and hope to continue this series with Pearls of Lutra.
The Chronicles of Ixia by Marie V Snyder- While I intended to continue this series in 2024 I never did go back to it. However, the library hold has been placed for book four and I will continue it in 2025!
And what else will I read in 2025?
Green Rider by Kristen Britain - I made great progress with the Green Rider series this past year. I finished book five in 2024 and look forward to finishing up the published books this year!
Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine - Rachel Caine is one of my favorite authors, and I started Morganville Vampires back when I still worked at Borders Books (think 2007). At the time I was trying to keep up with the books as they were published and ended up falling off track after book seven. This year I want to finish the series as both a nostalgia read and a way to remember Rachel Caine who sadly passed away in 2020.
What are series you're looking forward to reading next year?
